What should the ‘Guinness Record Holder’ Kishan aim next? An Oscar award – you said it right. From Kannada ‘Care of Footpath 2’ on juvenile crime is the first lateral entry to Oscar awards. The process is still big and tidy says father of Kishan Mr Shrikanth addressing the media on Thursday evening.

For Oscar award slated for February 28 2016 announcement in the foreign film category from Indian sub continent it is ‘Court’ of Marathi film that has been already chosen. Kishan ‘Care of Foot Path 2’ is direct entry to the committee. The film will be screened in top quality in Kannada with English sub titles at Los Angeles. Out of 6000 members at least 600 members have to recommend for nominations. After this process the film gets entry to Oscar award. What follows later is the toughest competition.

On the lateral entry of ‘Care of Footpath 2’ to Oscar the team of the film addressed media. Srikanth, Kishan, Shivaramanna, Devaraj Pande producer, JK, Shyamprasad, entertainment editor of Bengaluru Mirror, Film Chamber President Thomas D'souza, Anand Audio Mohan Chabria,Producer Ramesh Yadav  and others addressed media. The Kannada version will be released in November. Later Telugu, Tamil and Hindi versions will be released. On Thursday evening motion poster of the film was released.

Kishan addressed the media with his usual brilliance and said this is first step for Oscar. It is three years project. Lot of research work has went in he mentioned. The realistic feel is what attempted very minutely. That has consumed more time. In Control Room, CR Police headquarters, Parade Grounds, prominent streets the shoot was held Kishan remembered.
